Rail traffic was suspended in Russia region after ‘explosion’

An explosion has reportedly struck a railway bridge in Russia’s Samara region, according to the RIA news agency, citing emergency services.

There have been no reports of casualties so far.

Railway authorities have suspended railway traffic over the bridge due to what they described as “illegal interference.” The railway company stated that the incident was caused by an intervention from unauthorized individuals.
